Stand-Up Thursdays: Yes!

Hello Ballers! Sorry about the long break, my body returned from my first Burning Man a few weeks ago, but it has taken this long for my mind to work its way back from Black Rock City.

I experienced a lot of things out in the Nevada desert and told myself I would embrace as much as I possibly could while still avoiding major trouble (I've always been a fan of moderate and minor trouble). While this worked to my advantage most of the time, let's just say i might have been a slight bit too trusting in few cases. If you want the full story, I'll tell you at next year's Burning Man: Rights of Passage (pretty cool theme in my humble opinion).

But I didn't tell you that story because I have become one of those Burning Man people that can talk about nothing else and yes, I do realize I have said Burning Man four times already. I went to Burning Man, it changed my life, nobody cares. Believe me, I've heard it before and even thought of making shirts. I told you that story so I could play the clip below and have it have some relevance to well, anything I guess.

Much like myself at Burning Man (sixth time it has been said), in Yes ManJim Carrey plays Carl who has to say yes to everything. I know I'm a sucker for Jim Carrey (same Birthday as Andy Kaufman and me), but I think anyone can enjoy this scene. "She's never gonna go to a ball."

  1. please tell me this is the last time you'll mention BM, unless you're talking about your recent shits. Also, nice choice, Yes man is one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies.

  2. Your favorite Jim Carrey movie is Yes Man?!? What about Ace Ventura I & II, Earth Girls Are Easy, The Mask, Dumb & Dumber, Cable Guy, Liar Liar, Me, Myself & Irene, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and The Truman Show? And what about In Living Color? I know it's not a movie, but I mean, come on.
